Recently, Swiss independent watch brand Howley (ORIS) and the Australian Marine Conservation Association (AMCS), jointly issued in Port Douglas, the second generation of ORIS Barrier Reef Limited Edition watch. Located on the northern coast of Australia, Port Douglas is a great place to watch the Great Barrier Reef. Activities, the participating guests not only witnessed the release of the new public Welfare watch, but also personally feel the magical charm of the world's largest coral reef.

Oris has invited watch and lifestyle media, environmentalists and MyOris member representatives from around the world. Daniel Gschwind, Director of Tourism Australia, Queensland, also attended the ceremony as a special guest.
The whole event lasted for three days and the guests experienced the Great Barrier Reef featuring semi-submerged coral observation, underwater sightseeing and coral reef diving. ORIS brand friend Ross Isaacs (Ocean Planet Images), an underwater videographer who worked closely with James Cameron and Sir David Eden, wore Holly's time with two divers (ORIS) Limited Edition of the Great Barrier Reef, snorkeling through layers of coral reefs, field validation of the new watch excellent water resistance and underwater legibility.
Before diving, set the dive time
On the third day of the event, Queensland Tourism Director Daniel Gschwind delivered a speech on marine conservation that, in his opinion, made the Great Barrier Reef crucial to Australia and the world at large. Darren Kindleysides, president of the Australian Marine Society, tells about the Association's 50-year-old environmental initiative and cites the threats that the Great Barrier Reef is facing today. Imogen Zethoven, project director of the association, led the guests to review the milestones such as the establishment of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, the bidding for the World Heritage Sites, and the successful boycott of corals.
To congratulate the Society for the Protection of the Ocean in Australia on its 50th anniversary, Peter Borghouts, General Manager of ORIS Australia and Michael Meier, Regional Director of ORIS Group, presented Darren with the second generation of Howley (No. 50) ORIS) Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition watch.
